After much demand, Cucina Galileo have opened their doors within Club Marconi.
Owned by local Tony Rizzotto of the famous Vinnie's Ristorante Casula, who has also has a long standing connection with Club Marconi with his late father being a foundation member of the club. Along with his team, brother Joe Rizzotto, former A Grade player for both Club Marconi and Australia and Restaurant Manager Anna Liucci, this dynamic team is finally bringing back a traditional old-school Italian dining experience that Club Marconi and its members have been yearning for.
The menu is inspired from the diverse regions of Italy and prepared in traditional artisan style. Sourcing freshest and finest of local and Italian imported produce from the best providores and boutique butcheries, quality is at its best. From Northern polenta dishes to Southern pastas, all dishes are prepared in-house the old fashion way.
Cucina Galileo offers a fully comprehensive wine list featuring award winning local and New Zealand wines along with a fine selection of Italian award winning boutique wines from Sicily and Mainland Italy. And of course all the classic Italian aperitifs, cocktails and digestives, the perfect start and finish to every Italian meal.
The décor and atmosphere are uniquely perfected for a great dining experience for couples, friends and family. Cucina Galileo offers a casual open dining experience, a demure dining area, or the intimate private dining room for up to 12 persons. Group functions and Corporate Events are also a specialty, catering for up to 150 people, either within Cucina Galileo or in our private function room.
